The film VBM tells a story of two young men who get into an argument over a minor misunderstanding, but one of the young men (Donte) decides to settle the conflict with a gun. Donte is visited by an angel who shows him the results of killing the other young man (Larry) he had conflict with. Through this revelation Donte learns that his life is valuable beyond measure. Meaning that, his actions have the potential to impact thousands of lives and that God has a specific purpose for his life. The angel also teaches Donte that Larry’s life is also valuable beyond measure and murdering him will result in catastrophic consequences for both of their futures.
